Pillow Block Units are ball bearing units consisting of an insert bearing mounted within a cast housing, which can then be bolted to a surface. This makes them very cost effective whilst remaining versatile due to the multiple varieties available and the ability for the insert to adjust for any slight shaft misalignment.
The Pillow Block design is a very popular series and they’re upright pedestal design is seen across multiple industries.
Midland Bearings keeps vast stocks of Pillow Block Units, these include the UCP2.. Light duty series, UCPX.. Medium duty series and UCP3.. Heavy duty series. We also keep UCLP2.. series which normally have a slightly lower base to centre height.
All the most popular light duty designs are also available with a tapered bore insert, which when used in conjunction with an H series (metric sizes) or HE series (imperial sizes) of adaptor sleeves – can be used an alternative system to lock onto the shaft.
